š¢ PALO Report Edition #3 - Content Is Hard, Free Lead Routing?, Monetizing More Calls, A-Players.
Actual conversation with my buddy David Quiecā¦
David: so youāre going to do your newsletter once per month, right?
Me: Nah, Iāll definitely get it out weekly
David: LOL ok cool manā¦
Me: [sending this out 45 days after the prior editionā¦]
So yeah, content is harder than I thought, I have so much respect for people who can keep this going weekly. Thanks for sticking with me!
š¤ Looking for BETA Testers
Over the past year, weāve been working on our system that allows us to take our leads in and use our call center to dial out on those leads all within one interface. We also built it to have easy-to-use lead routing thatās also very powerful so if you donāt need to route to a call center but to an end buyer, it does that too. Iām a marketer, not a developer so I needed something simple to use that also gets the job done.
We need 5-10 partners to beta test our platform and tell us how we can improve. Itās a fully functioning product now, but we can always do better. In exchange, they can use this platform for free and route unlimited leads. No catch here, whether it be RTB, ping/post, or simple email lead delivery, use it for free and let us support you. Weāll also add you to a Slack channel for real-time support.

This is from an elite lead generator from our industry.
Use the link below or head here to fill out our onboarding form.

š² Monetize 100% of Your Call Traffic.
My good buddy Ray Sinlao heads up Standard Conversions and has created a pretty badass product that allows marketers, agencies, etc, to monetize their traffic they canāt connect elsewhere in an actually GOOD experience for the caller. When we were chopping it up on the phone and going over it, it really caught my attention with the amount of call volume and revenue flowing through this product. Not just revenue for his agency but the revenue he is paying out to partners that are using this product. He was nice enough to put this document together, breaking it down more. Check it out, and feel free to reply to this email for an intro! If you think the below is a virus then use this link instead you wimp.

šļø Some Ad Insights from PALO
Our biggest verticals at PALO right now are Medicare and still MVA.
MVA has taken a significant turn as we noticed our CPL spike on Facebook and had to go back to the drawing board. Since we made some major pivots in MVA in mid-February, we see our CPMs, CPLs, and overall ROI improve. The two biggest pivots weāve made are the creative angle approach and switching from landing page forms to lead ads on Facebook. Weāve taken a fully UGC approach with all angles where itās a person speaking to the camera and either telling facts about MVA or telling a story about an actual customer weāve helped. All of this is done in front of a green screen with some relevant content behind the actor. All of these creatives are done by me and my dumb face for the MVP before we scale it up, sorry if I clog your feed. Additionally, weāre using lead forms in a way to capture more leads but not allow the quality to tank. So weāve added more friction in the form along with qualifying our leads with conversational SMS before we finally get the user over to the firm. All signs point to GOOD so weāll keep scaling and testing.
Current Metrics from Facebook Ads (As of 3/15/25)
CPM: $53
CPC: $3.86
CTR: 1.26%
Average CPL: $100
Current ROI: Since we took this pivot, weāre obviously in the red while this new angle and approach is in the learning phase and we feed the conversion API.

š ļø Tools Weāve Been Loving.
š¤ Cursor AI: Cursor has been making AI so much easier to use by allowing it to be more autonomous and allowing it to move towards the goal without having to consistently prompt it after every step. Weāre also looking at some new tools like Visual Studio after watching Samar Hussein discuss his AI automation stack in the Unik360 community.
š LanderLab: Iāve tested DOZENS of landing page builders and they all have their special functions or systems but most of them lack basic things like inserting time or location natively into the page without code or they lack support. Weāve been testing LanderLab and are really happy so far. The tools make it really easy to spin up a page quickly with their āclone with URLā function and their support is awesome. They jumped right into our Slack and started getting hands-on for us. Highly recommend.
If you need an introduction or for us to point you in the right direction, just email me at [email protected], and Iād be happy to do so.

āļø A-Players are Needed More Than Ever
This LinkedIn post from Ryan Scibelli really stood out to me. It holds so much truth that the way organizations are changing and how hiring is perceived is creating a whole new landscape. A-players, individuals who can lead, think, build, and strategizeāthese are the new essentials. Meanwhile, smaller roles are starting to be minimized or completely eliminated due to increased automation, AI, and lower-cost equivalent quality outsourcing.
Your $10M business org chart has to evolve 3-4 times before you hit $100M.
